Commission an Artwork

Pricing
I charge $1.95 per square inch.
Formula:
Height (in inches) × Width (in inches) = Total Square Inches
Total Square Inches × $1.95 = Final Artwork Price
Sample Prices:
• 24" × 30" =720 in² x $1.95= $1,411.20
• 12" × 12" =144 in² x $1.95= $280.80
• 36" × 48" =1,728 in² x $1.95 = $3,369.60
Larger works cost more; smaller works cost less.
What’s Included
Your commission price includes:
• Professional packaging and shipping (or local delivery)
• A signed Certificate of Authenticity
• All materials required to complete the painting
Completion Time
Completion time depends on the size of the artwork, my teaching schedule, and other commissions in progress.
Most commissions are completed within 3–4 months.
Large-format works over 60 inches may require additional time.
Contract and Deposit
Once we agree on the commission details, I will issue a formal contract and invoice.
A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total price is required to begin the work.
Examples:
• $1,411.20 artwork → $216.18 deposit
• $3,369.60 artwork → $505.44 deposit
The deposit covers materials and protects against cancellations, and/or dissatisfaction. If you are not happy with the finish product I keep the artwork and the non-refundable deposit which as stated above cover materials and a very small portion of my time creating it.
